Dolby Live is a flexible venue which allows it to vary in size to complement each event. With telescopic retractable seating, Dolby Live can transform to host award shows, conventions, sporting events, and concerts with several different configurations.

Food & beverage is permitted inside the theatre during most events. Dolby Theatre is proud to partner with Wolfgang Puck Catering as its exclusive food & beverage provider. Outside food & beverage, including water, is not permitted.

No bags or backpacks will be permitted into the venue except for small personal bags or purses (12″ x 12″x 6″ max).

Standard theaters use speakers that reflect off walls to create surround sound for you while Dolby Cinema uses an object called a “soundbar” which projects better quality sound directly at your seat. This means you will get much clearer audio than if it were coming from behind or beside you.

Moving Audio—Guests are transported inside the story with sound that flows all around them, including overhead. The breathtaking realism of the sound creates a powerfully moving experience.
